FAQs

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions about dried flowers, hopefully the below helps but if you have any further questions or queries you can of course contact us at sandrosestore@gmail.com  we love to chat.

Why dried flowers?

We may be a little biased here, but we think dried flowers are the best kind of flowers! Thanks to the drying process they have been through, it means they last a lot longer than your average fresh bunch. You can enjoy your stems for years to come, which eliminates the need to keep throwing away wilted bunches. They're eco-friendly and of course they look bloomin' amazing.

How long do dried flowers last?

Your dried flowers will last 1-3+ years when taken care of. Yay!

How do you take care of dried flowers?

Which leads us on to this point, how to take care of your dried flowers! It's best to keep your dried flowers out of direct sunlight as this will fade the colour over time. Keep them away from water and try to handle with care as some stems can be fragile.

Do I need to do anything with my flowers when I receive them?

In order to transport your dried flowers and pampas grass safely, we tie them up with a lovely ribbon so they stay in tact. Simply untie, spread your stems apart gently and pop in a vase to see your flowers come to life. Your pampas grass may need a gentle shake to regain fluffiness, or you can use a hairdryer on a very low setting.

Are dried flowers eco-friendly?

Dried flowers are a fabulous eco-friendly option for the home! We only source our dried flowers and pampas grass from reputable sustainable sources and try to use British flowers where possible to minimise our impact. Dried flowers also last much, much longer than fresh flowers too. Flowers that have been dyed have been done so with earth-friendly natural dyes.

Do you use eco-friendly packaging?

We're extremely proud to say YES we do. We use recyclable cardboard boxes, paper tape and tissue paper. No plastic, we promise.

Do you offer a gift wrapping service?

Do you take bespoke dried flower orders?
